A small, intentional forest school community on four acres just minutes from Wyandotte County Lake in Kansas City, Kansas. We're secular, nature-based, and rooted in the belief that learning is living, and childhood deserves to be protected.

Kids covered in mud at 11am. A mom who just moved her body for the first time in weeks, surrounded by women who get it. A six-year-old deep in a project she invented herself, unhurried, uninterrupted.

That's a Tuesday morning here. That's what we built this for.

Four beliefs that shape everything.
Children are the experts on themselves.
They don't need to be managed into learning. Trusted with real time, real materials, and real space, children who are followed, not forced, build confidence, creativity, and resilience that lasts.
Nature isn't the backdrop. It's the point.
Four acres of trees, mud, and open sky, with a natural playscape built for climbing, building, and digging. The outdoors is where the real work happens, and we protect that time fiercely.
Moms need real community.
Not a group chat. Not a scheduled playdate. Women moving through a real morning together, talking honestly, with children nearby doing the same.

However your family wants to show up, there is a way in.
Program 01
Family Programming
Tuesdays & Saturdays
Your whole family comes. Mom moves. Kids really play. Babies welcome close, and ages 6 to 12 can drop off. Includes Primal Movement for moms, the Open Art Atelier, and Forest Free Play.
Program 02
Learning Collective
Mondays & Wednesdays
A small homeschool collective for ages 3 to 12. Child-led, project-based, nature-immersed. No worksheets, no desks, real learning. Includes Wild Play Studio, Human & Earth Studies, and Literature & Creative Expression.
Seasonal Rhythm
Fall and Spring terms with winter rest built in.
September to December and March to June, with camps and pop-up programming in July and August, plus virtual workouts for moms through the off-season.

Fall Term
The most alive months outdoors. Children settle deeply into group rhythm and long-form project learning.
Winter Rest
We pause in-person and move the mothers' workouts online, live and recorded, so you keep your rhythm through the cold.
Spring Term
Gardens, movement, and long collaborative projects. The land comes back and so do we.
Summer
Camps, family play events, and our open house. A lighter, seasonal energy open to new families.
